Daesung and Victim’s Family Reach Settlement
“Today Daesung and the victim’s family reached a settlement. The victim’s family expressed their desire to not have Daesung serve any punishment. They said they felt sympathy for Daesung and told him not to be agonized over the issue. The victim’s family also encouraged him to continue showing good performances,” an unnamed source was quoted as saying.
On May 31st, Daesung hit a motorcyclist who was lying on the street due to a previous crash that resulted from drunk driving. The motorcyclist was found dead when police came to the scene. Since the accident, Daesung has not made any public appearances, reportedly spending most of his time at home in extreme mental pain. Following today’s settlement, Daesung is expected to speed up his recovery process as many fans anticipate his return to the K-Pop scene.

When are Taeyang and 2NE1 expanding to America?
Idol group Big Bang's member Tae Yang's upcoming songs for his newest album is composed together by The Underdogs's Harvey Mason Jr and Damon Thomas. They are responsible for Beyonce, Justin Timberlake and Chris Brown's previous hits. YG Entertainment has confirmed this news and expressed their gratitude:

To this YG expressed their comment on this issue and said nothing is set in concrete. "2NE1's advancement in America is helped greatly by Will.I.Am. The time for it and everything related is still not confirmed. We are taking great care of doing what is the best possible option for them. We're being very cautious," hinting that now is still not the right time. Although 2NE1 has the help of many top producers like Will.I.Am, their advancement is still being considered in its planning stage.
For now 2NE1 will hold their first ever concert NOLZA on AUGUST 27TH and 28TH at the Olympic Hall with the tickets available tomorrow, also with their upcoming mini album ready for release. The track list for the mini album has made news recently.

Daesung will be re-summoned by prosecutors for further investigation
Prosecution officials have revealed that it’s not easy to assign charges, because they need to thoroughly investigate everything from the origin, there will be a need to call Daesung again.
Last May 31st Daesung was driving his car in the southern area of Seoul when he failed to see motorcyclist Mr. Hyun who was collapsed on the road, and hit him and then went on to hit a taxi in front of him.
Daesung was indicted without a detention by the prosecutors last month and stopped all his entertainment activities. Meanwhile he’ll have to wait for the prosecutor’s re-summon.

Today, we made a phone call to YG to ask their opinion about the interview released by the bereaved because the news article was a very biased report in many aspects.
We got the following response from YG that: they have been working on it and YG asks Daesung’s fans to please wait and believe in YG. Also, they added that during the process of the negotiation, YG will do the best for both Daesung and the bereaved family. So if you have any information by media, please do not misunderstand and wait for Daesung.

Family of deceased motorcyclist claims YG’s attitude is making it difficult to reach a compromise
Family member ‘A’ said, “It’s as if our child is being killed twice. I can only cry.”
Thus far, YG Entertainment contacted the family only twice. The first time was when YG Entertainment delivered their side of the story. It wasn’t until the second time that both parties were able to share their respective sides. Because of the clash of opinions that resulted during the second meeting, the two parties are currently not keeping in contact with each other.
‘A’ continued, “At first, they said that they would do everything they could. They asked us to trust them, as they would cover for all the funeral costs and hand us funds for compensation. Because they had the name of ‘YG Entertainment’, we believed them. Now that we are actually taking the formal steps to be recompensed, everything has changed. I feel as if we are being ignored.”
‘A’ said, “What is a settlement money? It’s money that’s being traded for our child’s death. What could we possibly ask for with that money? The amount that YG is offering to us, we can’t just accept it indifferently. They offered an amount that makes our child’s death so regrettable; it just isn’t enough.”
The second issue lies in YG’s changed attitude. With tears, the family members expressed, “Money is not important. If our child comes back alive, then none of that matters. What we want is an honest heart. All YG Entertainment did was contact us in a one-sided manner with how much they were willing to settle for, and that makes us feel humiliated.”
‘A’ continued, “The police have already stated that the reason for his death was because of Daesung’s accident. But YG is using what was broadcast on television to raise another point. I felt so dark after hearing that. I wondered if YG was not believing in what the police was saying.”
The family expressed, “We’re not even sure anymore whether they really want to settle the issue with us. This isn’t some kind of trade. We cannot accept how they just dropped a sum on us and told us to contact them if we agreed. We’re so confused as to what they’re actually thinking.”
The family also revealed a shocking statement made by YG Entertainment that made them question whether or not the company even cares for Daesung at all. They said, “YG told us that they had nothing to lose. Even without Daesung, Big Bang is promoting just fine, and they said that they had time because it would take a while for Daesung to return anyway. They said they weren’t in a rush. If they’re like this to Daesung, what must they feel for our child…? I could not find an ounce of respect from them.”
Dispatch contacted YG Entertainment for a statement, and representatives responded, “We are doing our best for the compromise. There aren’t any particular differences in opinions. We are mediating and balancing each other’s sides.”
G-Dragon Heads for japan to work on his new album :)
The singer was spotted in business class on a plane heading towards Tokyo’s Haneda Airport. One representative revealed, “A person with a unique fashion style was sitting in business class. I could tell that he was a celebrity from afar, and I noticed that he was G-Dragon once I got close. There aren’t a lot of Koreans in business class.”
On July 11th, representatives of YG Entertainment revealed, “G-Dragon alerted the company last week that he’d be going to Japan with a manager to check out some songs. BigBang at The K show
Big Bang is the group who started the show!! Tonight-Hands Up-Cafe-Lie-Last Farewell.
T.O.P. was acting so cute during the "Baby, baby" part in the "Last Farewell". He was just like a kitten who was trying to grab something while singing "Baby, baby".. Oh, he was too cute! He really looked like a pure guy at that time...kekeke... Ah.. I should describe how they dressed up today... GD: a red hat; T.O.P. a coat which was charming enough to kill and a hat; Seungri: ah... the black series...; Yongbae: ...the grey series.... When "ar" was used to replace Daesung's part, I cried TT I cried very sincerely TT
It seemed that GD was really feeling the sad sentiment of the songe and T.O.P. looked really hurtful. BIGBANG, I love you. Daesung, we will wait for you.
